Description

This CPD Accredited Legionella Awareness course for Healthcare Sites is designed for all those who need to be able to demonstrate an awareness of Legionella bacteria in a healthcare setting. Completing this course will award 3 CPD Hours/Points.

At the end of this course you should be able to demonstrate an understanding of;

· Where Legionella bacteria comes from.

· What conditions increase the risk of bacterial growth in healthcare sites.

· The guidance and legislation relating to Legionella in healthcare sites.

· How standards of plumbing can affect the risk of Legionella.

· The purpose of a Legionella Risk Assessment & Control Scheme.

· When Legionella Testing is needed.

At the end of the course there is a series of multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 70%. You have a maximum of five attempts to pass the test. On successful completion of the course you will be sent a CPD Accredited course certificate within a few days.

The course must be completed within 30 days.
